Dr. Oliver reveals that Goro was sent to him by the Hornets at the request of Gibson himself, who was a former patient of Oliver's. Seeing Gibson continues to pitch due to his love of the game and after learning Gibson wants to face Goro again, Goro is finally able to find the goal he is searching for.
