The stranger, amused by her reaction, asks for a date, under one condition: she is to be blindfolded, never to see his face, never to reveal her eyes. Esti decides to let this exciting new adventure into her dull life as a simple worker in the back garage of a car dealership. She has been dreaming of moving up to the glamorous shop- room, while having a lingering crush on Menashe, a co- worker with slight chances of it ever turning into a real affair, since both of them are too shy to approach each other. The incidental telephone call marks a turning point. Thanks to this new relationship, Esti is blooming, and tends to forget the people and things that really matter. The dealership owner suspects that one of the workers is making extra money on the side and creates an atmosphere of tension and suspicion.
