Essex boy Ali has achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism, and at 4ft 2, the 22-year-old is used to being the centre of attention on a night out, yet has never had a girlfriend. When he meets Kirsty, his nerves threaten to get the better of him and ruin the date. Finally, 27-year-old raver Alec has Saethre-Chotzen syndrome, a rare genetic condition characterised by the fusion of cranial features. Too nervous to approach girls himself, he turns to a dating agency for help and before long plans are made for him to meet research scientist Charlie.
